JKO LMS and the ATRRS Course Approved List

JKO is an online e learning system that offers Army Promotion Points. All DOD members have access to the site. Ensure you have the MHS (and your pinpoint organization within MHS) listed as your primary organization in your JKO profile. This will provide you full access to the DHA LMS course catalog.

Commanders Safety Course (CSC)

You can find many training opportunities on the ATRRS course approval list if you’re an Army soldier. This site is designed to help soldiers find the right training programs that meet their needs and unit requirements. It also makes it easier for soldiers to get the right training they need to do their job properly. If an organization wants to host a video product, they should contact the DHA LMS manager for specific instructions. It is important to remember that these products must adhere to certain standards to be hosted on the DHA LMS, including a minimum of one minute in length, and not contain offensive language.

Supervisor Safety Course (SSC)

The Supervisor Safety Course (SSC) is an Army-wide training program that provides training and certification for supervisors of military and civilian employees at the GS-14 and GS-15 levels. The SSC consists of two phases, the DL phase and the resident phase, which are both required for completion of the course. Students must also meet all of the eligibility requirements to attend SSC, including a valid quota and position eligibility. Participation in SSC will not protect a student from RIF action. However, if a student is in a long-term developmental assignment when they complete SSC they may qualify for promotion points based on the academic evaluation issued by the SSC institution.

Those who are not privileged users of JKO can access the training resources through the DHA LMS by clicking on “Report Builder” under the “My Home” tab. Once there, select the ”Organization and Members” report. This report displays the organizational structure set up in the DHA LMS and personnel assigned to those organizations. It can be filterable by organizational name and is an excellent tool for assessing the current DHA LMS user knowledge level.
