It covers discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex (gender identity, pregnancy and sexual orientation), national origin, age, genetic information Nondiscrimination Act and physical or mental disability.

What is ATRRS Army EEO Training?

EEO training is a series of classes that help employees understand the different types of discrimination and how to handle them. The classes also provide employees with information on how to report a complaint. They often cover topics such as sexual harassment, religion, and age. EEO training can be taken online or in person. It is recommended that employees take the course online because it is easier to complete at home.

The Army Knowledge Online (AKO) website provides a variety of resources for soldiers and DA civilians. It includes a search engine for learning resources, training schedules and calendars, and links to other sites that offer additional information. It also offers a My Training Tab, a system that pulls together all Web-based training resources on a single page. This tool is only available on a secure computer system, such as those found at military installations or on a government-issued computer with VPN access.

The Leader Safety Course is an upcoming course that will replace the Commanders Safety Course, Manager Safety Course, and Supervisor Safety Course in ATRRS. The LSC will provide commanders with the tools to manage their unit’s safety and occupational health programs and to incorporate it into their unit planning and activities. This course is required for all commanders and leaders.

Soldiers Leadership Development Course (SLDC)

Soldiers Leadership Development Course (SLDC)

The Army focuses on the professional growth of employees and offers many opportunities for learning through training and self-development activities. This includes Army correspondence courses, opportunities for study at local colleges, and participation in professional associations. This is in addition to training mandated by a plan or specified as an element of an employee’s job.

The Soldiers Leadership Development Course (SLDC) is designed to develop a more effective leadership team. It teaches leaders how to communicate effectively and provide guidance for managing a team through conflict, crises, and change. The course also covers the importance of personal growth and self-development.

Army leaders can access the SLDC through the ATRRS training website. To enroll in a course, you must have a valid CAC and be on a secure network. The ALMS help desk can assist with any technical issues. The Patch Library or the Army Community Service on Panzer Kaserne have CAC-enabled computers if you need one at your work location.

The SLDC is available to Army civilian employees in supervisory or managerial positions, military supervisors of civilian employees, and other DoD leaders. However, priority will be given to Army senior-level civilians, GS-13 and above or comparable pay band, not already in a supervisory or managerial position. Priority will also be given to GS-15 or above civilians who are participating in an Army-endorsed supervisory or management development program.
